Skeet Range

The skeet range stands as a striking feature within the ranch compound, designed to host National Skeet Association sanctioned tournaments while blending seamlessly with the surrounding South Texas terrain.

Flanked by two large towers that act like horse-blinders, the design frames the target areas and directs shooters’ focus inward, while simultaneously capturing breathtaking views of rolling pastureland beyond.

These towers draw inspiration from ancient native structures and regional vernacular, embodying a thoughtful respect for indigenous building traditions and materials. The use of native stone and robust construction techniques aligns the skeet range aesthetically and functionally with the ranch’s overall architectural language.

Beyond its practical role, the skeet range serves as a transitional space linking the active, social areas of the compound with the natural landscape, embodying the owner’s vision of stewardship and connection to the land.
